Now a full-fledged festival, ASCOLTO has been celebrating community radio and the diverse cultural worlds it connects for years, growing over time through new formats, collaborations, and shared practices. In 2025, its program unfolds in three main parts: a workshop series throughout September, followed by a free program of showcases and summits from September 25 to 28, across various venues in the city of Bari, Italy.
ABOUT
Launched in 2021 within Linecheck Music Meeting & Festival and produced by Music Innovation Hub, ASCOLTO has evolved into an independent platform for sonic experimentation and international collaboration. Over time, it has hosted nearly 30 radio stations from around the world —such as Radio Alhara, Refuge Worldwide, Noods Radio, Lahmacun and Oroko Radio —fostering a global network of artists, activists, and cultural workers committed to rethinking the role of community radio and the meaning of music communities today.
